Twitterbots and Procrastination
So, I have had a twitterbot running for a couple of weeks now (check out https://github.com/vaibhavsingh1993/twitterbot). One of them was supposed to like and retweet posts including the tag “#thor”. Today I was looking at logs for all tweets shared, and saw that people the world over tend to use twitter a lot more around noon (you can actually see patterns based on language of tweets, so Koreans will be likely to post stuff around noon in Korea (around 8:30 AM in India, where I live)), then come the Chinese posts, the Indian posts, European posts and so on. Time Around which I started looking at the logs: noon. Guess everyone kind of thinks alike, you are probably not the special snowflake you think you are.
